Paradise Farm

Worldview pioneered organic agriculture in 1996 by taking over a neglected farm and turning it into a demonstration project. Today, the farm holds more than 800 different plants species as part of its bio-diversity strategy with value added production of organic green tea, organic virgin coconut oil, fruits and spices, all classified as highly beneficial to health.

The farm activities also include Eco Tourism and village development benefitting people in the area. It has introduced a new social responsible marketing concept called Equal Trade which guarantees farmers higher returns than from any other social responsible marketing concept.

Worldview is also supporting organic farming in Myanmar with information, material and education.

The farm works in close cooperation with M.P. Global Connect in the USA for product development and international marketing, and is planning to expand new marketing initiatives in partnership with selected minority communities in the USA as part of a global village concept.

Paradise Farm is an organic, fairly-traded tea farm in Sri Lanka, which exists to create a sustainable livelihood for its workers… and make great tea! The film above was produced by Sebra Film and translated into English by Small Seed Films.
