Giving the youth of the world the tools they need to save their future.
Generations of youth all over the world are becoming increasingly concerned. Their future is at stake. Is it possible at this late moment to make a change?
The GenerationHOPE initiative by WIF is ready to launch its first solidarity project in cooperation with youth in Kiribati, one of the drowning small state nations in the Pacific Ocean, heavily affected by rising sea levels. This first initiative will be to empower youth in Kiribati to mobilize a global voice on social networks by reporting directly from the affected areas. World opinion needs to be informed for immediate action. 10 youth groups will be trained as climate reporters on simple mobile phone technology and invited to air their reports on global social media.
This is followed by another new WIF initiative in 2023, establishing an easily available practical distance learning platform. Worldview Mangrove Online University will empower communities to successfully implement mangrove restoration projects, guided by experienced science-based planters with a track record of 96% survival rate of plants.

Our goal is to mobilize youth for urgent climate action
We intend to reach out to youth in other small state islands in danger of drowning from rapid sea level rise by expanding our activities. We believe in solidarity with the global youth, who have no other planet to inherit. Employing natural climate solutions, tested and proven effective over millions of years, can help this young generation take back control of their future.
GenerationHOPE is propelled by the energy of youth. Therefore, the leader of this youth campaign is Baitong Jarrerat of Thailand, former Miss Earth 2021/22. She leads a knowledgeable and highly motivated team to mobilize the power of youthful global solidarity, at a critical time in human history.
