– I got engaged in the project by Svein Rasmussen who invited me to Myanmar and see how the Mangroves are being planted and taken care of. I thought I knew a bit about mangroves then, but I learned much more about the mangrove tree’s qualities, benefits and therefore the importance of saving and planting mangrove trees.

Mangroves play an important role in protecting and maintaining life in coastal areas, yet mangroves are disappearing quickly. I think this project is already important to create awareness about diminishing mangrove trees. At the same time it provides an opportunity to the public to actively contribute to improving this situation.
"We all live on this planet together so together we also have a responsibility to take care of it.
Supporting this project is an easy and most importantly: a natural way to help battle climate change."
